Growing up in Ohio I was lucky enough to have a huge wooded back yard where I spent many afternoons playing and exploring, guided by my imagination. I've been drawing as long as I can remember and my earliest inspirations were Star Wars, Marvel Comics, and whatever cartoons I could tune in on the UHF tv stations (does anyone remember that?)

I started drawing comic books during the big comics 'boom' of the mid '90s. When comics 'unboomed' I moved into video games and have been working there ever since for companies like Midway Games, Disney Interactive, and Warner Media.

These days, I live in the suburbs of Chicago where I enjoy exploring the woods behind my house with my wife, our two daughters, and our Pug (who would much rather explore the kitchen.)

Telling stories with pictures is why I love creating art, whether it's in a comic book, a video game, or a picture book. My favorite stories are full of humor, adventure, and wonder.
